Kontador DUO SC is a modern two-component insecticide combining the systemic action of imidacloprid and the contact-intestinal action of lambda-cyhalothrin. It effectively controls a wide range of pests on agricultural crops, providing rapid extermination and long-lasting protection. Suitable for use in various climatic conditions, including Tanzania. Thanks to its dual mode of action, it reduces the risk of insect resistance development.
🔹 The combined action of two active ingredients provides an extended spectrum of insect control. 🔹 Rapid pest elimination and prolonged protective effect. 🔹 Suitable for various crops and conditions. 🔹 Rainfast due to concentrated suspension formulation. 🔹 Reduces resistance risk thanks to different modes of action.
🎯 Purpose: Control of a wide range of sucking and chewing insects (aphids, whiteflies, thrips, moths, leaf beetles, etc.)
⚙️ Mode of action: Imidacloprid — blocks nerve impulse transmission; lambda-cyhalothrin — causes paralysis
⏳ Duration of effect: Up to 2–3 weeks
⚡ Speed of action: Effect visible in a few hours, full pest death within 24–48 hours
🌿 Phytotoxicity: Not phytotoxic if used according to guidelines
🔄 Resistance: Low risk of resistance, especially with rotation
🔗 Compatibility: Well compatible but testing recommended
☠️ Hazard class: Class 2 for humans, hazardous to bees
📌 Recommendations: Treat at first signs, during calm weather
🧊 Storage: Store in a dry, cool place away from food
📅 Shelf life: 3 years
